Dr. Manuel Cubero Vice President Digital TV, Kabel Deutschland GmbH Dr. Manuel Cubero is currently Vice President Digital TV at Kabel Deutschland GmbH. Previously he was member of the knowledge group telecommunications and media at Egon Zehnder International in Hamburg between 2002 and 2003. In 1999 Dr. Cubero founded an internet gambling and gaming company in Salzburg/Austria, which was then sold to one of the European market leaders. Between 1994 and 1999, as Managing Director of Beta Research and Beta Technik Beteiligungs GmbH he was responsible for the setup and operation of Germany’s first digital playout centre. Between 1996 and 1999 he was member of the steering board and Co-Chairman of the Commercial Module within the European Digital Video Broadcasting Project. Since April 2002 Dr. Cubero is a member of the board of directors of SCM Microsystems Inc. Dr. Cubero holds a PhD in physics from the Technical University of Darmstadt/Germany and subsequently an MBA from INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau/France. Last Updated 25. February 2005
