Martin Bachmayer´s professional life has been in the area of videogames and entertainment. He first started off working in sound studios as a sound engineer and composer and then as a field manager for an Austrian record marketing organization.
In 1995, he took over the Austrian representation for Avalon where he was responsible for the first launch of Tomb Raider, Command & Conquer and Resident Evil. As Acting Director of Bachmayer and Partner GmbH, Martin Bachmayer oversaw the Austrian launch of Sega´s Dreamcast™ Console in 1999.
After his change to Microsoft Austria in 2001, he led the successful launch of the Xbox™ console.
Martin Bachmayer was born in Vienna in 1971 and holds an MBA degree.
